Details:
33/11 kv Substation is used to step down voltage from 33 kv to 11kv and the output is connected to a feeder for local utility. The primary voltage for the power transformer at 33/11kv substation is 33 kv which is fed from the secondary transmission line.
The 11kV lines are used in residential areas and are what feed the local transformers, which then distribute power to the buildings in the area. 33kV lines on the other hand involve much higher voltages and are used to distribute power from one small substation to another
1.0 ohms for EHT stations. 2 ohms at 33 KV SS. less than or equal to 1 ohm, An overhead supplied 11kV distribution substation would normally require an overall earth value of less than 0.3 to 0.5 ohms to obtain an EPR less than 430 volts.
